I'll never learn...

For some reason, I always take on projects by myself. OK, I know why...I'm too cheap to actually pay someone to do the work! First I built our fence, over 300', by myself and now my latest challenge was a rock wall for our front landscaping.

It seemed simple, stack the rocks so they look good, slap some mortar on them so they'll stay put and you're good. The reality was much different. Actually it wasn't that horrible, but imagine a puzzle with no real solution...and each piece weighs at least 5 pounds! Val was a great help, and once we figured things out we were rolling.



And the final product...
